A LITTLE HISTORY

In 1991 an active group of young people, which by that time had been gathering together in the course of two years for Bible studies under the leadership of a young pastor, realized they had a God-given goal to make simple Christian truths understandable for an average person and popular among the people of Vyborg. It was then that having understood the depth of spiritual needs of the people in Russia it was decided to start working on the project of planting a church, which would be relevant, focused on the needs and issues of a modern man.

Through several years of walking by trial and error due to the lack of experience in Russia we finally were able to understand biblical principles of building a church and accumulate enough experience for successful work in this direction.

With much joy we can say that the biblical truths, once forgotten in our country, have once again became a reality for many people, who had lost their hope and got mixed up in their search for the purpose in life. It is a real privilege for us to see how God’s word drastically changes lives of many people, lives that at one point of time seemed completely irreparable. .

Dozens of men and women can witness today that their lives have been radically changed after they found that they could come to the living God, Jesus Christ, and allow Him to work in and through them.
